Peculiar Children

I finished this book about a week and a half ago but I have been forgetting to write about it. I normally would not read something with a "fantasy" feel to it but I actually really enjoyed this book. It had real pictures from the 40's era. I am pretty sure that the story was built around the pictures, which I found fascinating and made the story interesting. I would say this is a must read : )

Josh and I get to spend time with his service dog in training today!! We are super excited and ready to see him.

Neglectful

Geeze!!

I have been so neglectful of my blog here lately. 

Just been so busy, my hubby finally is getting his VA appointments which take so much time out of our day!!

With that said we are excited because that means we could possibly home by Christmas :) 

Aside from that I have been on NEW recipe kick here lately, well new to me at least.

A very long year.

A year ago tomorrow, AUGUST 4TH 2010, changed my life forever:

I received the phone call no wife ever wants to get, especially a military wife. My husband had been injured in an attack in Iraq. Later in the afternoon I got another hard phone call, finding out he had lost his left leg.

Another important thing about tomorrow, our wedding anniversary. Tomorrow being our third. Josh has came such a long way and I could not be any prouder of him and how well he has adapted to his new life, our new life. I just wanted to take the time to share our anniversary tonight because tomorrow will be such a huge day for us. Sitting here thinking of all we have been through and how everything has played out it brings tears to my eyes. I really am at a loss for words, I love you Joshua Charles Craven!
