So this is the world of blogging :) Ahhh real refreshing. I have decided to finally create mine. I love to look at other peoples and I always say I am going to make one. Today I have accomplished that goal. I probably would have never created one without seeing Jerrica's :) and not to mention I had a tonsillectomy on Thursday and now I have been confined to the apartment. Joy me. With all that said it's time to let you know a little bit more about me. I am married going on three years here soon to the man of my dreams. You could say "highschool sweethearts", although we didn't actually go to school together, we have been together since November 2005. He joined the military in 2008 and we were married later that year! This is him also to be probably be referred to as booba, babe, or his name occasionally Joshua ;)
So anywho.. He is the love of my life and without him I would be lost!! We have had our times but they TRULY have made us stronger. August 4th of last year he was injured in Iraq by an IED. In result he lost his left leg and his right leg is severely damaged to the point that he cannot feel below the knee. He has a hard time walking but has came so far since then. I have his progress all in videos (here) We are currently stuck in good ol Washington, DC and for a small town girl, it is a HUGE change. The whole rehab and getting him better plus getting out of the military process is so tough and it really takes a toll on us, so you will probably hear a lot about it. I am sure as the days go on my blogs will detail more into and about my life but for now I will keep it relatively short (eek..kind of long..oops)
