Veterans Day Weekend

Me and Josh took a trip back to NC :) He was asked to be the Grand Marshall of our hometown's Veterans Day parade. All in dress blues, it took my breath. He looked so handsome an it gave me such a great feeling of pride for what he has done and how far he has come in his recovery. I am truly blessed to have him in my life. We had an amazing weekend home and now we are headed back to DC only to be back shortly for Thanksgiving.

We also have been looking at houses for a while now, just not quite finding that one that sticks out..until this weekend :) we think we may have found the ONE! How exciting. Well were on that long trip home so I am going to keep babe some company while he's driving.

A couple suppers..

So I have been meaning to share the past couple nights worth of dinners, but just didn't make it around to it until now.. So here they are :)

Ribs..
Season the lightly and cover with lemon slices and onion slices.
Bake covered in oven at 400 degrees for an hour..
While waiting for the hour to be up, prepare your sauce. I use salt, pepper, and favorite bbq sauce.
After the hour is up, take ribs out throw lemon and onions off and brush with the sauce. Put back in oven for 35 minutes uncovered. And they come out like this..yummy :)
Josh decided he wanted deviled eggs, so he made these, and they turnt out great!!

Last nights dinner..
Fried Chicken..
Home made biscuts.

 And the yummy fried chicken..
 It was sooooo good!!

Have good night :)
